Best of luck to our boys' basketball team tonight at home against Negaunee.
Congratulations to our varsity girls on defeating Escanaba 66-32. With that victory they became the Great Northern Conference Champions! Congratulations to Lillie Johnson for breaking another school record. She now has the record for most career rebounds in Gladstone. She currently has 785 career rebounds, passing the previous record set by Sheila Leach (777) in 1987. She also led the way with 29 points and Addy Blowers added 5 three points. Eva Pankonen also had 10 pts.
Great job to our freshman girls' basketball team on their win last night. 62-23. Congratulations to the five girls who had double digits.
Announcements
There will not be an Outdoor Experiences Club meeting today. Plan on a meeting next Tuesday. New members are welcome as we start planning some fun adventures for the rest of this year and next year.
Anyone signed up for the Ski Brule Trip is reminded to get your winter clothing ready and that the bus will depart at the front of the high school Monday morning at 7:15 AM. Please arrive at 7 AM for attendance. If you do not have snow pants, winter jacket, warm hat and snow gloves or mittens, Please let Mr. Swanson or Mrs. Fix know. Anyone bringing their own skis or snowboards should arrive at the same time to the front of the school.
There will be an NHS meeting on Thursday during 1st lunch in the auditorium. Please bring pizza orders, money, and a calculator.
The final day to turn in Valentine's Day forms is Wednesday, February 12th. Please submit them in the library.
Any 10th-12th graders interested in taking the ASVAB this semester should contact Mrs. Herioux. If there are enough students interested, a test date will be scheduled.
